JIL Abbotsford, BC Outreach Launching Today!

What a great day to celebrate another JIL BC opening of an Outreach in Abbotsford, BC. The place was packed with JIL Surrey 1-3 workers represented that fully supported the event including the JIL Abbotsford brethren. There were visitors who came as well.

JIL Abbotsford brethren were filled with joy and excitement as another milestone is unfolded right before our eyes. God graced the event with His presence and the Music Ministry was jamming away in God' presence led by Marjorie and her team with the congregation fully into it. I had the opportunity to share the message, "People Need the Lord." I had fun also in serving this way.

Altogether, the whole event was a testimony to God's faithfulness to His people. A big congratulations to the JIL Abbotsford leadership and congregation headed by Fred Pangan as the Outreach Coordinator. Way to go! It has begun and be ready to see God's power at work.

Their service will be every Sunday @ 4:00pm. For more information, please contact Fred Pangan. Pictures will be posted soon at the JIL Canada website: www.jilcanada.com. Keep visiting!

To God be all the glory!

What a Great Day!

There can never be anything that can match when one see a milestone of God's favor. This is especially true when JIL Langley Outreach was officially opened yesterday. The day was hot but the people were very excited to see the reality of many prayers raised up together by the JIL Church family of British Columbia.

The JIL Surrey 2-Fleetwood were most joyful in seeing JIL Langley Outreach released from them specifically. I was there to exhort them to become salt and light as Jesus intended to. It is a milestone and a manifestation of significant impact.

The JIL Canada were also instrumental in being partners of JIL Langley in many ways one cannot imagine. The whole JIL Canada rejoices with this achievement for God's glory alone!

There is more to come and we cannot wait for the next one!

Let's talk again!

God’s Promise

2 Cor 1:20, “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.” NIV

The promise of God is always in our behalf and never against. It will be for our benefit to know them and to provide a canopy of strength and courage during difficult times. But most especially, let the promises of God become a rock-hard source of everyday power to face all kinds of situation. We only need to glance at the newsprint and hear news media of varying degrees of corruption caused by human nature imprinted with sin to recognize the need for God’s intervention. This is where God’s promises allow us to rise above all of it without being distant to the reality of where we are. People need a better promise that can be fulfilled without being influenced by personal desires. Many have done so but a promise backed-up by God will prevail always.

Remember that the enemy will always cause us to doubt God’s promises both in good times and bad times. Therefore, never give him a chance to do so. How do we do it? Keep hearing the promise of God and receive them with faith. When we do, our perspective of life will change significantly with a great impact in all aspects of our life. Try it and you will never be the same again. God’s promise yields a tremendous blessing in all season. Furthermore, it speaks to all levels of our concerns. The greatest about it is this: it is given for all generations to come and for all eternity.

We have promises that do not expire but works best at the most dire situations of life. C’mon, it is always available and easily accessible whenever we open the Scriptures. Men’ promises fail us but God’s promises will not and will never fail.

Serving God

What a great time to spend one's life to serve the purpose of God in my generation. I just came from a mission trip in USA and visited JIL Churches in LA, San Francisco and Sacramento. It was such a sight to see how God releases His mighty favor in putting everything right according to His time. And to see His people becomes very excited of the possibilities in the coming days is incredible. This is what it is all about: transformation of HIs people to become who they are as God desires. And being part of it personally makes it more worthwhile.

I was accompanied by my wife, Pastor Monette and having her with me in all my mission trips provides additional favor as well. To be with one's partner both in life and ministry makes it even better.

I thank God for the opportunity to serve Him....Looking forward for more....

Insights from the Word...
by Ptr . Aldrin Navo

SIGNIFICANT IMPACT OF THE CHURCH

Matthew 16:18b “…and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” NIV

What makes any congregation impenetrable against the attack of its enemy within and without? I believe that it is holding on to the promise that we will not be overcome by it. However, we must secure our grounds at all times and guard what has been entrusted to us with extra care and vigilance. In order to do this, the church must contend with sin that continuously assault God’s people through worldly attractions and distractions. Then it is followed by the constant barrage of temptation by Satan with his cunning strategy of stirring up the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. The main reason is this: to cause God’s people to fall away from their faith. It is a two-prong attack to weaken and demolish every believer’s faith.

Thus, turning the tide against Satan’s attack is through strengthening and maintaining a disciplined Christian life that includes regular bible study, habitual prayer with fasting, fellowship with accountability amongst God’s people, and firm obedience to God’s Word. When these things are closely monitored and adhered to, significant impact is guaranteed in the spiritual realm. But if these things are disregarded, the results will be shipwrecked faith, carnal and worldly lifestyle manifesting inside the church. When this occurs, God’s people and His ministry are totally affected. Thus, significant impact of the church must begin in the spiritual realm first and foremost in pushing Satan’s wiles and plans in order to achieve the intended impact.

In view of this, let me encourage you that although many of our brethren are falling away in our midst; know that there are more believers that are holding on securely in keeping their faith life intact with utmost care and fear of God. There might be stumbling blocks along our way but let us choose to view them as stepping stones instead. And having this kind of perspective will produce significant impact that we desire. Therefore, let the church arise and take its place of victory over all the works of the enemy today, tomorrow and until Jesus comes. May we remain faithful and persevering until He comes!
